Item Description
Each is 1.75" with covered tin back and fixed horizontal pin. Group was originally established as the Japanese Mutual Aid Society in 1907. The original founder Dr. Toyohiko Takami joined with other community leaders in 1914 to form the association with this title to take over and expand upon the goals of the original group. These two buttons were issued for the 4th and 5th "Annual Outing." The earlier has some hairline scratches in reflected light but still displays NM and with full gloss. Second has tan age tone on far left and right edges but again brilliant color and high gloss. The group is now known as the Japanese American Association of New York. Rare very limited issue buttons.
