Item Description
5.5x8-3/8" die-cut cardboard lollipop holder for candy by Brandle & Smith Co. of Philadelphia who also made Mickey Mouse candy bars. 1933. Front depicts Mickey Mouse walking and holding a lollipop in one hand, other arm is die-cut and movable as are Mickey's eyes and ears. Opens to reveal a variety of different small images of Mickey and Minnie Mouse along w/lollipop-related poem. Also inside is die-cut portion to hold lollipops. Trace of aging/edge wear, back on movable Mickey Mouse head/arm piece has a few areas of surface paper off, but o/w folder displays Exc. Choice condition. Comes w/aged replacement cellophane-covered lollipops. Scarce.
