Item Description
This 1930s ring is high quality brass and with an adjustable band. The golden metallic finish is actually reflective like a mirror. Top has high relief lion's head with exacting detailing in the brass representing his mane. In his open mouth is an inset ruby red faceted stone. The ring is also known with an emerald green faceted stone. This design is similar to the 1935 premium issued for Clyde Beatty by Quaker Wheat Crackles. However, that ring did not include any jewel accent. Likely the ring we are offering came from the novelty firm Johnson & Smith but of much superior quality to their typical novelty rings. Mint condition with a finish that looks like gold. Rare. Robert M. Overstreet Collection. Comes with COA.
