Auction #211 - Part II
Item numbers 1197 through 2870 in auction 211
Item Description
Brass ring with adjustable bands is of the same design as the 1941 Orphan Annie Secret Guard initial ring. However, on the sides of this ring rather than the initials "SG" are a pair of Indian symbols, one of a bird and the other of a horse, rather primitively drawn. Top of the ring has initial “R”. Ring was issued by a 1930s-40s maker of a chocolate and walnut candy product still in production today. Ring still has well over 90% of original lustrous gold finish. Rare and just our sixth seen in five decades.
