Item Description
12-5/8x15-3/8" frame contains original acetate sheet that has been professionally and attractively double-matted to 8.5x11.25" and has cel image area measuring 4.75x5-1/8" depicting full body image of hen holding Dale of Chip & Dale. From the 1951 animated short that was directed by Jack Hannah and featured Chip & Dale dropping acorns amongst chickens. Of course, Dale mistakes the eggs for walnuts. He meets a hatched chick and is forced to impersonate a chick to hide from the rooster. Production cel has been framed w/printed presentation bkg. of barnyard scene. Hen has small spot of paint off eye, but this blends and is only noticeable upon close inspection. Small spot of outline paint off hen's comb and .25" paint crack on one toe. Still displays Exc. as framed.
