Item Description
We are not sure if this banner was used as a store display or if it was intended to be purchased so that buttons could be attached and then displayed at home. While we've show the ten buttons in this group laying on the banner they have never been fastened to the banner and the banner does not have any pinholes although there is a 1/16" insect hole barely showing at the upper left. Additional text on the banner is the large title panel "Peanuts By Schulz" along smaller text "From The Comic Strip By Charles M. Schulz/Copyright 1966, By United Features Syndicate, Inc." The ten buttons that come with the banner are each 1.75". These all have the Schulz copyright on the curl with dates ranging between 1964-1968 with two exceptions which have 1950 copyright date but which were actually issued during the 1964-1968 time period. The buttons are all NM to Mint. The banner is Mint except for the tiny insect hole. Only example we've seen of the banner. A rare group.
