This items is not to be confused w/the smaller signs produced for this card series. This is a large 20x30" thick cardboard standee w/easel on reverse. 1941. Large image of "Piper Cub" at top noting these actual planes were awarded as prizes. Below this are example images of eight cards from the set including "Grumman Widgeon Amphibian" and "U.S. Navy Fighter." At bottom is ad for the radio show "Wings Of Destiny" along w/cigarette pack. All over moderate wear w/about a dozen pencil point margin holes, some margin creases and edge wear, 1" tear at top left. Appearance remains bright and glossy. VG. Impressive display.
