Item Description
Original printing 5-7/8x9" single-sided handbill for May 6, 1958 concert that took place at the R.P.I. Field House in Troy, NY. Concert was sponsored by local radio station WTRY and featured "17 Top Attractions - 4 Great Bands - Cast Of 60" that included - Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly and The Crickets, Chuck Berry, Frankie Lymon, The Diamonds, Danny and The Juniors, Billy & Lillie, Billy Ford and The Thunderbirds, The Chantels, Larry Williams & Orchestra, The Pastels, Dicky Doo & The Don'ts Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Jo Ann Campbell and "Alan Freed And His Coral Records Big Rocking Band Starring Sam The Man Taylor." Top of handbill has Alan Freed bw photo image at center and handbill also features photo images of Lewis, Holly (by himself and w/The Crickets), Berry, Lymon and Hawkins as well as other performers. Upper left corner has lt. handling crease but o/w handbill displays NM. Rare handbill in choice condition.
