Cards in this set were issued in 1953-54 in two series of 18 cards. Issued in packages of Carnation Corn Flakes & Albers Oats. A regional issue distributed on the West Coast. ACC# F270-3. Fronts feature full color Walter Lantz characters while reverse includes illustrated instructions for drawing that particular character along with additional related specialty art, all in bw. Nice assortment of both major and minor Lantz characters. Cards in this lot are: 1-9,11-16,18,20,33. Three cards has crease, VG. Rest are NM. The "Albers Rolled Oats" container is 9.5" tall and complete w/lid. Front features Woody promoting the cards while back has extensive text about the series and additional images including example cards. All over obvious wear and aging. VG. The cards are scarce and the container is Rare.
