Item Description
19.3/8x19-3/8" frame contains "Darkness On The Edge Of Town," the fourth album by Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, which was released June 2, 1978. A steady seller in Springsteen's catalog, it has been certified Triple-Platinum by the RIAA. Display contains the LP cover w/the back displayed, as it has been signed in black ink by Springsteen and six members of The E Street Band - Garry Tallent (who adds "Good Luck"), Roy Bittan, Max Weinberg, Steven Van Zandt (who has signed as "Miami Steve"), Clarence Clemons (1942-2011; adding "'The Big Man'") and Danny Federici (1950-2008). Springsteen has boldly signed across his chest, making his signature very distinct against the white bkg. of his shirt. All other signatures remain bold and distinct. A satin-like backstage pass (w/date and "Pitts." Pittsburgh notation in black marker) featuring the image of Springsteen from the album front has been framed at lower right corner, not affecting any of the signatures. Display has been professionally and attractively double-matted and displays NM as such. Vintage band-signed items from this period are becoming more and more desirable this example is as nice as they come. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
