14x20" first printing poster for May 5-7, 1967 concerts at Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA. featuring Big Brother & The Holding Company (w/Janis Joplin), The Sir Douglas Quintet and Orkustra. Poster art by Rick Griffin features photo image of Big Brother & The Holding Company (W/Joplin at center) by Bob Seidemann. This is identified as a first printing due to the presence of a streak of pale brown ink in the top of the arrow-shaped tail that is right below the "M" in Ballroom. Poster is lightly aged and has some lt. corner tip wear. VF/Exc. From the Mark Arminski Archives and comes with a COA specially designed, signed and remarqued by him.
