Item Description
Pair of first printing posters, both from 1967. First measures 14x18.25" and was for the "Halo" benefit concert for the Haight Ashbury Legal Organization that featured Jefferson Airplane, Big Brother & The Holding Company, Quicksilver Messenger Service, The Charlatans and The Grateful Dead. Poster text reads "Benefit For Haight Ashbury Legal Organization, An On-Scene Summer Long Guarantee Of Your Freedom." Concert took place May 30 at Winterland. Poster deign by Rick Griffin features vintage photo of man wearing badge that has been altered to read "Indian Agent." Lightly aged but Exc. Second poster measures 14x20.25" and has JRR Tolkien-inspired "Come To Middle Earth" psychedelic text and imagery by Clifford Charles Seeley. ©1967 Berkeley Bonaparte and printed by Tea Lautrec Posters.
