Item Description
16-7/8x22.25" poster for Nov. 7, 1975 performance by Jimmy Cliff and The Mojo Boogie Band at the Michigan Theatre in Ann Arbor, MI. Cliff, a Jamaican musician, multi-instrumentalist, singer and actor is best known among mainstream audiences for songs such as "Wonderful World, Beautiful People, The Harder They Come, Sitting in Limbo, You Can Get It If You Really Want" and "Many Rivers to Cross" from the soundtrack to the Jamaican crime film "The Harder They Come," which helped popularize reggae across the world. Poster design by Amy Horowitz features central image of Cliff at top and lower half of poster has images of Bobby "Blue" Bland and Luther Allison who were to perform there on Nov. 22. Poster has some lt. corner tip wear but if framed, would display Exc. From the Mark Arminski Archives and comes with a COA specially designed, signed and remarqued by him.
