Lot of three painted and glazed ceramic figurines of Dumbo measuring between 3.75" and 5.25" tall. Made by Modern Ceramic Products (MCP) of Sydney, Australia, American Pottery and Shaw. 1940s-1950s. First two (smaller figurines) both feature Dumbo as a baby, one w/baby bonnet. Many of MCP's pieces were just smaller versions of those by Shaw. In this case, Baby Dumbo figurine w/o bonnet is a unique figure, and no American version exists. Exc. Wonderful pose and expression. Rare and the first example we've offered in our 48 years. Baby Dumbo figurine w/bonnet is complete w/foil sticker on ear. Pinpoint flake off tip of extended trunk, but still displays Exc. Figurine w/Dumbo wearing his familiar hat and red/white variety collar has residue on back of one ear from original label (now missing), o/w Exc.
