Item Description
Lot of four painted and glazed ceramic figurines, ranging from 4" to 5-3/8" tall. Produced by American Pottery, Shaw and Vernon Kilns. 1940s. First two both depict Dumbo as an infant w/bonnet, one depicting him seated w/his front legs on the ground and has worn American Pottery foil sticker. Tiny flake to tip of trunk, o/w Exc. Second depicts him seated w/his front legs up in the air and also has worn American Pottery foil sticker. Exc. Second two both feature similar designs of Dumbo wearing his hat w/his ear to the ground. Second has Vernon Kilns company mark on underside including series number "40" and 1941 copyright. Tiny nick to tip of trunk, still displays Exc. Other is Exc.
