Puppets include - Howdy Doody, Princess, Dilly Dally, Mr. Bluster, Clarabell and Flub-A-Dub. All are complete as issued w/their correct fabric bodies. Puppets are totally different from those produced by Zany (see item #1954). Puppets show lt. traces of aging/wear. Mr. Bluster has noticeable wear to red paint of hat and is Fine. Rest are VF/Exc. Box (now flattened) is designed like "Howdy Doody Club-House" w/illustration of the Peanut Gallery along w/Howdy character pennants and die-cut windows that pop open. As flattened, box shows wear w/creasing and scattered color rubs along edges. Grease pencil price written at top. Fine. Nicely designed set. Puppets are scarce and set is rare w/stage.
