13.58x20" artboard w/attached paper overlay and separate acetate and one onionskin paper overlay (top overlay marked "Kit No. 1404 - Armored Car") has original mixed media art depicting the main box lid art for 1975 Lindberg model kit No. 1404 featuring a Leichter Panzerspähwagen (translated from the German - "light armored reconnaissance vehicle"), a series of four-wheel drive armored cars produced by Nazi Germany from 1935 to 1944. Art shows German soldier firing machine from within vehicle while Nazi soldiers fire machine gun in city rubble. Art is signed by John Steel. Image area measures 10x19". Bottom margin has printed label reading "Lindberg/3 Boxes #829150 Armored Car #1404 (3)*" and production scale notation that could be easily matted out. Art is NM and would look stunning framed. Impressive model kit art.
