Item Description
15-7/8x20" Crescent artboard has original acrylic art depicting the main box lid art for Pyro Plastics model kit No. 168. 1970. Art is signed by A.J. Rudisill, an internationally-acclaimed artist whose original acrylic paintings of landscapes and seascapes have been exhibited at major galleries throughout the country. Earlier in his career Rudisill provided stunning model kit box art, such as this offered here. Art depicts a motorcycle being ridden by a character clearly modeled after Napoleon Bonaparte, who raises sword and rides into battle. Back of his seat has skeleton ribcage and skull, which wears military helmet. Another motorcycle rider wipes out in distant bkg. Bottom and top center margins have printing labels. Nicely detailed art is NM and would look stunning framed.
