Item Description
11" tall hand puppet w/full color composition head (complete w/original wire monocle and monocle string) and cloth body designed like tuxedo. Maker is unmarked but item has "© Charlie McCarthy Inc." text at bottom front. c. late 1930s. Raised "Charlie McCarthy" name on back of neck. Top hat has some scattered wear in the form of small paint nicks and face shows slightest trace of wear, but head appears free of repairs/touch-ups. Head is Fine/VF while body shows some aging/lt. wear and is Fine overall.
