c. 1933. 4.5" tall clock w/metal case comes in nicely illustrated box w/die-cut lid. Lid features large image of Mickey Mouse. Label has lt. age fading and small 1/8" edge tear. Box is complete w/all cardboard inserts and instruction paper as well as inspection string tag and price string tag w/Mickey Mouse image and original $1.50 issue price. Original box label notes clock as "Electric." Box can be assembled for counter-top display, w/slanted sides and die-cut top showing pop-up Mickey Mouse image. Box shows scattered wear w/small tears to lid around die-cut areas and some corner tip wear. Fine/VF overall. Instruction sheet and string tags have some scattered aging and lt. wear. VF overall. Clock has one piece wrap-around paper label on top and side panels that feature all-over images of Mickey, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow. Clock face features separate die-cut tin Mickey Mouse figure whose hands point at the numerals and body is designed to rotate as seconds tick. Clock no longer works and original silk cord wrapping has begun to fray. Silver luster frame around clock face shows some scattered luster loss and bottom left corner has minor indent w/some paint loss. Clock remains Fine for display.
