Ink stamp at bottom "John Ashton Music Store" with Boston address. Detailed scene of elaborately decorated hall interior with dancers, large chandelier and on lookers seated in second floor balcony. Age toned. Cloth tape reinforcement at spine. Fine. Second is "The Battle Of Buena Vista/Composed And Most Respectfully Inscribed To Genl. Z. Taylor/The Hero Who Never Lost A Battle" by Chs. Grobe. Published 1847 by G. Willig, Baltimore. 14 pages. Above each line of music is narrative of the events related to General Taylor and the Battle of Buena Vista. Patriotic cover with flags, eagles, crossed cannons, drums, military theme. Scattered aging. Seven tiny holes at spine from binding removal. Free of tears and splits. Fine. Last is "To Jessie B.
