Item Description
23.75x54.25x15" deep jigsawed wood and Masonite three-tiered rack w/three racks to each shelf. c. early 1960s. Front of top and middle shelves feature small outline images of Gold Key comic book characters including - Disney characters Donald Duck, Pluto and Bambi; Fred and Wilma Flintstone from "The Flintstones"; Yogi Bear; Little Lulu; Huckleberry Hound; Woody Woodpecker and Bugs Bunny w/"Gold Key" logo and text reading "Gold Key Comics - Great Fun For Everyone." Rack shows some scattered lt. wear, w/sides having some scratches and slivers of surface wood off at corner edges. Upper right side has 1.75" crack to interior. Fronts of rack show trace of wear but overall, rack still displays Fine when viewed from front. This rack would work perfectly as a display for your vintage comics books. Rare and the first example we've offered in our 47 years.
