Item Description
10" each. Marked on back with same hallmark. First is "Theodore Roosevelt 26th President Of The U.S." eight vignettes appear on border. Including: Roosevelt as a Rough Rider/The Roosevelt home at Oyster Bay, L.I./Roosevelt's farewell to the Rough Riders at Camp Wikoff, L.I./The Wilcox's home where Pres. Roosevelt was sworn in/Charge of Rough Rider's at San Juan July 1st 1898. Minor stain on reverse center not affecting front NM display. Second is "William Howard Taft/James S. Sherman" jugate. Vignettes of various Washington, D.C. landmarks including: The Capitol/Executive Mansion/Mt. Vernon/Washington Monument/etc. Top reverse edge has 3/16" deep by 7/8" long chip with an 1/8" hairline sliver visibly missing when viewed from the front. Front, mostly on rim, has scattered tiny scratches in the glaze that show under close scrutiny in reflected light. Most only 1/8" to .25". Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
