Auction #212 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 988 in auction 212
Item Description
6.25" tall painted plaster w/large red cloth pincushion on his rear. c. early 1940s. Rare and more detailed than the commonly seen "Hotzi Notzi" pincushion (see item #976). Incised "Stick A Pin In The Axis" text on front of base. Original felt covering on bottom. Aging and wear from use to pincushion. Figure was broken at boots, resulting in 1.25" piece being reattached at base. Figure has been nicely repainted (w/exception of face and hands), but piece still displays Fine. Well done.
