Item Description
Lot of three painted and glazed ceramic figurines from the 1940s. First two were produced by both American Pottery/Shaw. Largest stands 6.5 tall and depicts Donald Duck w/classic angry look on his face, his fist clenched in front of him. Second smaller figurine measures 4.5" long and depicts Donald laying down w/an annoyed look on his face. Both are Exc. Last figurine in lot depicts Donald wearing green instead of his typical blue and stands 7" tall. Totally unmarked, but c. late 1930s-early 1940s and very likely Italian. Nice image of Donald w/head tilted slightly to one side and hands on hips. Scattered all-over crazing but no staining. Tiny 1/16" nick to glaze on one of Donald's shirt buttons. VF.
