Item Description
Lot of 70, each typically 1.5x2". All are World War II era. Matchbook covers include an interesting variety including USO, misc. servicemen's clubs as well as homefront themes including scrap conservation, relief efforts (Great Britain, Russia and China), war bonds/stamps, etc. as well as anti-Axis themes. Some interesting images on matchbook covers include Statue of Liberty, soldiers, Santa Claus, tractor, Greyhound bus and cartoon images of Hitler, Mussolini and Tojo. Some feature warplanes and insignias on backs. Each is different. Scattered aging w/lt. traces of wear here and there, but all appear unused and o/w Exc.Two Riker mounts are included for display as shown. Instant collection.
