Matchbook covers include an interesting variety including USO, misc. servicemen's clubs as well as homefront themes including scrap conservation, relief efforts (Great Britain, Russia and China), war bonds/stamps, etc. as well as anti-Axis themes. Some interesting images on matchbook covers include Statue of Liberty, soldiers, Santa Claus, tractor, Greyhound bus and cartoon images of Hitler, Mussolini and Tojo. Some feature warplanes and insignias on backs. Each is different.
