Item Description
8x10x1.5" deep box contains complete set by Daisy. c. 1940. Box has obvious and heavy wear to lid w/large portion of lower main panel missing but main image is still nice. Box is evenly aged and just comes along. Box has insert w/Superman illustration, detailed description of the gun's features and list of filmstrip titles. Insert has lt. scattered wear. VF. 7" long battery-operated steel film viewer gun is nicely designed w/raised image of Superman on the left side. Incised "Superman Krypto Raygun" name on grip. Gun has very minor traces of surface oxidation and this blends w/the gun's dark finish. Lights as intended. VF. Has all seven complete 16mm bw filmstrips w/titles that include "Reforming The Prison, Foiling The Football Crooks, Saving The Circus, Killing The Cab Racket, The Subway Mystery" and "One Man Police Force." Film strips are VF/Exc. Final item is instruction paper w/list of films on back and this includes image of Superman as well as Red Ryder. Moderate scattered aging w/some lt. handling wear. Fine. Our last example (in better box but incomplete) sold for $1,173. Scarce as boxed and complete.
