Item Description
16" tall painted wire rack w/4.75x12.75" tin litho display at top which reads "Sunoco Road Maps...Go With Confidence!" c. 1950s. Rack was meant to sit on counter top in Sunoco gas stations. Tin litho topper has scattered wear/aging w/streaks of oxidation at left and right margins. Paint on wire frame shows wear w/all-over scattered surface oxidation. VG overall. Rack contains 33 Sunoco folded road maps for the New England States, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Ohio areas, including several road and historical guide versions. 1930s-1940s, including two 1939 "World's Fair Editions." Scattered wear/aging, a few w/some penciling. VG-VF overall. Great assortment for display w/this rack.
