6x9” w/stiff paper covers and 24 b/w pages. Published by the Comics Magazine Association of America, Inc. Front cover has printed seal at lower right w/text “Look For The Comic Book With This Seal”. Chapters include “Censorship Legislation Is Not The Answer”, and booklet includes positive quotes from 1955 and 1956 regarding the comics code. Lt. cover aging and trace of staple rust. Overall Fine. Founded in Sept. 1954 by former judge Charles F. Murphy as a self regulating body to counter the negative effects of Frederic Wertham’s “Seduction of the Innocent” anti-comics book, directors list includes John L. Goldwater (co-founder of MLJ, later Archie) as President , J.S. Liebowitz (founder of Detective Comics, Inc.) as Vice President, and Murphy as Code Administrator.
