Item Description
Each is 1.25". The first without back paper has front text with his name and "L.A. Mantel & Tile Co., 623 So. Spring St." Reverse has .5" cello split by the collet but laying perfectly flat. Front has tiny .25" scratch near the top that catches reflected light but the button displays Mint. Second with similar portrait has back paper reading "Compliments Of London Clothing Co/Los Angeles, Cal./B.& G. Co., Ltd., N.Y." with the initials apparently standing for the company Baldwin & Gleason, making this one of the last buttons upon which their name appears. Button is essentially Mint. Last with no back paper or maker name has real photo surrounded by text "La Fiesta De Las Flores/Los Angeles, May 6-9, 1903." Moderate stain on the outer edge. Full gloss. A rare limited issue.
