Item Description
TR traveled to Louisville for a speech as dated in silver on this ribbon "Louisville/April 4/1905." Metal ring at ribbon bottom joins second brass ring on a 1.25" celluloid which has a white celluloid covered back and blue text on the front "Escort Committee." Top of ribbon joins to ornate and highly embossed NM brass luster hanger 3" wide and featuring full color inset 1-1/8" portrait celluloid. Both the ribbon and suspended celluloid carry name of maker W&H. Only the slightest traces of wear. Quite possibly the sole surviving example. 5-3/8" tall overall. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
