Item Description
First is 7/8" portrait button with back paper by St. Louis Button Co. There are a pair of 3/16" cello cracks by the upper right edge running horizontally but they are so fine that they are for practical purposes invisible even in reflected light. It takes magnification to see them. The button still displays glossy and Mint. This is Hake #10 with 2004 Guide value of $298.00. Second item showing the Democratic rooster symbol crowing the campaign year "1924" is Hake #22 a 5/8" with W&H back paper. Just the most subtle hint of tone on the white background. No individual spotting. High gloss. Julie Powell Collection.
