First is a 2" tall cigarette lighter with metallic bluetone photos on a silvery background with the silver foil overlaid with a thin glossy coating. A narrow line of this coating has come off the left side edge of the lighter and it has taken on a bit of yellow discoloration along the top and bottom edges of the front and back panels. Both photos and the panel of reverse text beneath the title "The Adlai Creed" are still in overall very clean condition. Lighter appears to have never been used and has a wick but no flint. Underside reads "Lord Chesterfield/Japan." The pen is mostly plastic 5.25" long with the name "Eversharp" on the pocket clip. The push button feature no longer works to retract the pen point.
