Item Description
Hake #2001. Reverse is missing good bit of the silver flashing but nice highlights remain and no rust. The reverse cello edge has about 10 tiny splits but these are no more than 1/16" with the exception of a single one which is 3/8". None of these make any detectable bumps on the outer rim edge when viewed from the front. The front has several air marks on the lower portion of the Kefauver's blue suit, as made. There are also about ten extremely tiny indents but very shallow and positioned to the lower right of his photo. These show just a little in reflected light. The piece has no stain and full gloss. The Hake 2004 Guide value for this rare button is $650.00. See next related item.
