Item Description
The 3" "Arizona Likes Adlai" button is Hake #49 with 2004 guide value of $105.00. This is NM displaying Mint. Reverse has removable ink date on back of "56." With it comes a 18" long double strand cord bolo tie. There is a figural ceramic piece in the shape of the State of Arizona picturing a raised image with hand coloring of a donkey with name below "Arizona." A copper piece on the back holds this to the cord and it is moveable. Ends of the cord are glued into a pair of ceramic cowboy boots. The three ceramic pieces have minor craze lines in the glaze surface but no real damage. There are two additional items each a ceramic oval 1-3/8" tall each with gold rim and "Adlai" in gold. While the fronts of these match the reverses are different in that one has a vertical bar pin and one has a brass spring clip to serve as an earring. These four pieces are from the Don & Mildred Wright Collection and Don personally collected these at the 1956 Democratic convention.
