Each is 2.5" and both are by Trimble, Pittsburgh. The first shows Goldwater, Miller and Pennsylvania Senator candidate Hugh Scott. Button also shows "Original Emblem Of The Republican Party When Party Was Founded In Pittsburgh-1855." This is Hake #9 with 2004 Guide value of $130.00. Second button is Hake #10 with 2004 Guide value of $90.00; however, there are three very light gray marks on the upper white background. Button has full gloss and displays well. Text repeats Goldwater's famous quotation "'Extremism In The Defense Of Liberty Is No Vice; Moderation In The Pursuit Of Justice Is No Virtue." Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
