Auction #212 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 988 in auction 212
Item Description
Each of these is 2.25". They appear to have been produced on a 1984 color copying machine. The first is dated for August 11, 84 and includes "Portland, Ore/Gender Gap Conference." The curl of this one reads "Mulnomah Co. Democratic Central Comm Robert M. Smith, Treas." The following three buttons all include maker name "Good Cause Buttons" along with a post office box address in Portland. The second button is dated for October 5, 6 & 7 for an event in KahNeeTa. There are also letters "OFDW" probably standing for Oregon Federation Of Democratic Women. The lower right side of this has hairline gap on the reverse as the cello cover was not quite sufficient to tuck under the metal. Still displays Mint from the front although with a small extra bump along the left edge. In the bottom row is an August 14 issue from "State Fair Edition." Final button reads "Portland OR 8/14/84." Three of the four buttons are essentially Mint as made. Julie Powell Collection.
