Item Description
First are 24 buttons featuring hopefuls and produced in 1976 by Mac Donald Associates of Manchester, N.H. Each is 2-1/8". Includes Bentsen (1), Blessitt (1), Clegg/Packwood (5), Fred Harris (1), Humphrey (6 with three dated May 12, 1976 for a Democratic Dinner, each reading "Welcome to N.H." and one designated "Committee.") The first in row three has 1/8" gray mark. Next is Henry Jackson (2), Loewenherz (1), Kelleher (1), Ted Kennedy (1), Udall (2), Wallace (3). All except one HHH are Mint. Second group of 11 political and one Bi-Centennial were purchased May, 1976 from Clete Dozark d.b.a. Buttons On Bristol in Minneapolis. These are 2-1/8" except for row four pair at 1.25". Includes: Bayh (2), Humphrey (2 different colors), Ford (1), Harris (1), Shriver (1), anti-Wallace (1), Democratic Women's Agenda (1), Ted Kennedy (1), anti-Scoop Jackson (1). All are Mint as issued. Some photocopies of order forms from both makers come along. In total a group of 35 hopefuls and 1 Bi-Centennial. From the Levin Collection. Comes with Hake's COA.
