Item Description
Celluloid figure depicting Santa Claus w/lantern in hand and sack over his shoulder is mounted to a 2.5" dia. gold luster tin base. Marked "Made In Japan" and back has complete tax stamp. c. 1930. The separate head is mounted to a nodding mechanism which has an attached counterweight. Underside of base has a winder and toy works perfectly, Santa's head nodding back and forth. Small trace of wear to base. Minor crack at neck as produced, but all remains structurally sound. Works. Figure has trace of aging and is VF overall.
