Item Description
First is 5/8" button reading on the front "Every Man A King/Share Our Wealth Society." Complete with its unique back paper "Write Huey P. Long U.S. Senator Wash. D.C." Has barely seen 1/16" age mark on rim edge at 1 o'clock. Displays bright and glossy. Second is a 2.5" pocket mirror showing facsimile signature of W.K. Henderson and with slogan "Hello World/Dog-Gone You!" This is a real photo. Henderson was a pioneer in the radio industry who acquired a Shreveport, Louisiana station. He became one of the most famous personalities in radio and the text on this button is what he used as his trademark greeting. He allied himself with Huey Long who was elected Governor of Louisiana in 1928 although a few years later they parted ways. Mirror is NM displaying Mint and made by St. Louis Button Co.
