1.25" button with his name and office initials "M.P." along with the slogan "Ireland's Best Friend." He engaged in a life-long struggle to achieve Irish self-government and to reconcile Unionist with Nationalist and Ireland with England. Button is from slightly before his death in 1918. Reverse has .25" hairline split along the collet but the celluloid lays perfectly flat and front displays cleanly. First we've seen.
