Item Description
Pair of 9.25" and 9.5" tall (to tops of hats) larger size jointed wood figures w/painted solid composition heads. c. late 1910s-early 1920s. Last larger size Ringmaster figure made, complete w/oilcloth boot sleeves, felt vest, coat and top hat. Even lt. aging and scattered trace of wear to face and painted wood hands. VF. Clown features two-part head and replaced leather ears. Fabric one-piece outfit is missing most of one flocked "button" while other "buttons" show wear. Outfit has moderate aging and collar has .25" tear. Painted face, wooden hands/feet show wear. VG. Figures come w/well-made painted wood accessories; two chairs, a ladder and solid wood tub w/added paper strip and duck image. Fine-Exc. See following lot #1269.
