Item Description
Smallest buttons are 1.5" and largest are 2.25". The first "Let My People Go" button has the name of a Montreal button maker on the curl. Second has tiny sponsor initials on lower right edge "NCSY/UOJCA." Third button has tiny curl text partially readable as "Wash Hghts Council For Soviet Jewry." Fourth button has no curl text and the fifth button is a litho. Sixth has no curl text but the seventh "Free Soviet Jewry" has curl text "Long Island Youth Committee For Soviet Jewry." Eighth button has no curl text. The ninth button "Israels Panthers Need Your Help" was issued by a civil rights group founded in Israel in the 1970s by Sephardic Jews who felt they were being discriminated against by the Ashkenazic majority. All are NM displaying Mint.
