Item Description
Wonderful graphic portrait of young boy exposing his missing teeth with a smile between exaggerated ears. Portrait strongly suggests MAD Magazine’s Alfred E. Neuman of later generations. One of the five examples we’ve handled over five decades. None of the examples has had a back paper and there is no maker’s name indicated on the curl. Celluloid has only normal and trivial surface wear showing in reflected light. The centering is essentially perfect and the color is bright with no fading and high gloss. A NM example of one of the most desirable product buttons ever made and displaying Mint.
