Item Description
9x12” stiff paper sheet has 7.5x8.5” image area in ink and lead pencil w/expressive head and shoulders drawing titled “Hangman”. Autographed in ink at right “To Charlie from Bob Fujitani ‘05”. Exc. Fujitani did “The Hangman” for MLJ in 1943, and also worked on Zebra in Green Hornet comics and Shock Gibson in Speed Comics before going on to Lev Gleason publications. Obtained in person. From the Charlie Roberts collection.
