Item Description
Lot of four handbills promoting concerts that took place at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, OR. First three are glossy and measure 4.25x5.5". For concerts that took place Feb 17, March 3-4 and March 22, 1967. Bands included Drake and The Golden Hind, The Horsemen, The Redcoats, Mr. Lucky and The Gamblers, Buffalo Springfield, The Warloks and others. First and last in this group have strips of tape at top/bottom center and all have moderate handling wear. VG overall. 5-5/8x8.5" handbill for "Fall Ball" concert that took place Nov. 10, 1968 and served as a benefit for Pacific Northwest psychedelic favorites The New Tweedy Brothers w/Country Joe, PH Phactor, Portland Zoo and others. Art by Aubrey Beardsley features Victorian woman w/small partially nude man in pastoral setting. Top/bottom center have areas of aging due to aged tape strips on reverse. VF. All of these handbills are scarce.
