9" tall impressively detailed Artist's Proof figural hand-painted and glazed ceramic jug by Kevin Francis Ceramics, c. 1992. Modeled by Doug Toole. Jug features the legendary opera singer Luciano Pavarotti seated, holding his monogrammed handkerchief in one hand, a delicate flower extended in the other. At his feet is sheet music w/"L'elisir D'Amore" Italian title that translates to "The Elixir Of Love." Handle has several raised music notes on it. Underside has company mark and hand-lettered text noting this as an "Artist's Proof." The final production jugs were produced in a limited edition of 2,000; this Artist's Proof being significantly scarcer. NM.
