Item Description
Framed original art from the collection of arcade historian Bill Kurtz, author of such books as "The Encyclopedia Of Arcade Video Games" and "Arcade Treasures." 16.5x20.5" frame contains original mixed media concept art for the backglass of Bally's 1984 pinball machine "Gold Ball." This is the original artwork presented to the Bally executives for approval. Art area measures 13x14.25" and varies slightly from finished product and shows gold-colored man appearing as if throwing pinballs at viewer. Bkg. scene shows futuristic-looking arcade w/several people wearing robot-like helmets while playing arcade games. Large central "Gold Ball" pinball has reflection of player, though shown as people in bkg., w/helmet. Colors remain bight and vivid. Exc.
