8-5/8x11.25" promotional book for advertisers. Issued in 1956, the second year of the ABC TV show "The Mickey Mouse Club." Book contains extensive contents, including syndication costs (on two separate typed and stapled packets within book), show description, advertising/merchandising, upcoming season prospects, response of children to marketing, etc. Double Mickey Mouse as bandleader image of cover. Cover shows scattered wear/aging. VF. Limited distribution. Rare and first we've seen in our 47 years. Comes w/8.5x11" typed letter on "American Broadcasting Company" letterhead dated July 17, 1956. Letter is addressed to Harry Ellsworth Jr. of the Frank H. Fleer Corporation. Letter concerns a possible Mickey Mouse/Fleer deal to promote Dubble Bubble during the show, w/first paragraph reading in part "I Had A Good Meeting Friday With Bill Drutt At Zubrow, And He Is Going To Take A Good Look At Mickey Mouse For Your Bubble Gum." Letter has been signed by Helen Guy of ABC. Exc.
