Auction #212 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 988 in auction 212
Item Description
As with the previous item but using different photos this button pictures both Kaiser Wilhelm II and Austrian leader Franz Joseph I. They are shown beneath the words that translate to "German-Austrian-Hungarian." Button was issued for a "Volksfest" with date below of "1915." Spring pin holds flags in the colors of the three named countries. German ribbon has small tan mark but overall the condition is VF and the button has just half dozen tiny tan marks on extreme rim edge. This is a button made by a Colorado firm with back paper. Rare and first we've seen. Full gloss.
